Last night there was a #fblchat (fashion/beauty/lifestyle chat) all about advertising. My knowledge on the subject had been a little blurry beforehand so I found it really helpful. I've been doing blog button swaps since I started blogging in 2011 so I felt like maybe it was the right time to start offering advertising cheap.
Its a controversial subject and I spoke to a hell of a lot of people before I decided about it. Someone who had some knowledge of how much you should charge said I should be charging around £3-£8 so no more than £5 sounded about right to me.
I'll never know if people are interested until I try!

ps. this also means that when it comes to April 1st (if anyone has bought an ad!) that the buttons that I have swapped with people will be taken down, feel free to take mine down on your blog to make it fair :) I will be doing a favourite blogs page though so I can continue to share my favourite blogs as I usually put their buttons in the sidebar.

I think it's an awesome idea. I really struggle to find people who want to buy ad space on my own blog (which is why I still offer freebies now and again as well) but fingers crossed that you will get lots of lovely people wanting to advertise with you. I may even do myself soon :D

I will defnitely be interested, I am currently working on a new logo/header for my blog and along side that I will be creating a button so once I have completed these and I am happy with it I shall be in touch about advertising!
